iPad Mini releasing in October - Bloomberg

A fresh report has claimed that Apple is planning an October launch for the as-yet-unannounced iPad Mini.

Four people said to be familiar with the iPhone maker's plans said the iPad Mini will measure 7.85 inches diagonally.

It's also said AU Optronics and LG Display will supply screens for the device, which won't support the higher resolution display offered with the most recent iPad.

A September iPhone 5 release date and a pre-Christmas iPad Mini release date have been widely tipped over the last few months.

Last week Apple became the most valuable company in history.
