I bought this laptop as a family laptop for everyone in the households basic needs i.e Emailing, buying things online, Social networking and so on and for those applications it is extremely good! It performs well and so far I have not witnessed any lag or crashes. When my nephew visits he uses the Laptop for flash and Java games like Runescape furthermore he enjoys skyping with his friends (Which is faciilitated by the pre installed webcam and mic) and from what I have seen the machine seems to handle these features extremely well! He looks like hes having a lot of fun too! One thing I am particularly pleased with is the Laptops DVD writer as I take many home videos as do other people in my family and we can now Burn our memories onto disc in case of hard drive failures. one final thing I am particularly pleased with on this machine is the Finger Print reader it is extremely cool as a novelty and makes logging into my PC fun quick and easy!
Summary: Very good as a home laptop copes extremely well with most tasks!
